卖汤圆!

Okayy..i know 冬至 is long over..I'd meant to post on that day itself but because I was too tired you see. When I think of 冬至 I will think of 汤圆!! yayy! normally my mum will do the cooking and I will just assist her and let her scream at me- for ym clumsiness, slow-ness, stupidity and what-have-yous. And obviously I'm not what all those criticism make me out to be. wells she's going through menopause you see, so I have to be very forgiving. But at times it's really difficult given my foul temper. She's really 无理取闹 at times. bleahs

Anyway, what I'm here for today is definitely not to tell you about my mum's menopause. well it happens that my mum was out that day and she called home saying...

mum: " eh u help me make 汤圆 can anot huh?? I think i won't be home till quite late lehz."
me: " huh..i dunno how to make lah. tmr then make can???"
mum: " tmr?? tmr what day already..today is 冬至 leh!!! u dont make today when u wanna make huh???"
-yak yak yak-
me: "ahhh..okayokayokayyyy..i make i make.okay? ( rolls my eyes. ) so what to do now?"
mum: "okay..u take the flour out.........make sure u separate the two colours hor...........then put into the boiling water. oh YAHHHHH....MUST REMEMBER TO COUNT THE NUMBER OF RED N WHITE ARHHH!"

Yah..u must be wondering why must count right? My mum wants to buy 4D with the numbers lah..like i counted, there's 36 red and 77 white. hehs i very li hai right? counted like hundred over lumps of things..gawd! And the process wasn't very easy you know? especially separating the two lumps of dough. damn! it's the toughest and stupid-est job on earth i tell you. Why must the seller lump the two colours of dough together since they were initially apart? Make my life so difficult. you know how sticky the two-in-one lump is? I took such a long time separating them lah. rubbish! can't imagine myself doing it. but I did it anyway.

Tadaa! i made it! though it's spotted with red.That's the best I can do. =

And here's the red. That's my helper-Mr Knife. He helped me
scrape the two colours apart. Yayy!

Ermm...couldn't capture the white ones coz they're all happily sitting in the soup! Shh! Do Not Disturb.

Oh but I manage to capture a red one looking quite peculiarly like..can u make it out??
