Bad day

today is the first day of school after the CT.
today i got back my first paper.
Mathematics.
I used to love this word because i used to see an A beside it.
Now...i just find it so irksome. What is so bloody wrong with me? i just screwed one of my H2 paper that i wanted so so so badly to pass. The one that i thought i would pass. Well, just like what people always say, the higher you climb, the harder you fall. hahs
And did you know that i planned to fail physics and economics? Now that i've failed my maths, does it mean that im just going to flunk al my H2 subjects? FREAK! I DON"T WANT TO! ARGGHHSS! Well, you might say that almost everyone scores like that. But i so don't wanna score this freaking score. rahhh
Hai..i'll just have to see how i fare in my other papers. Geography, god will i be able to ace it or at least get a B? I don't wanna disappoint her. :(
After school i mhad two meetings with the ndp comm. The first one went rather smoothly (thanks to Nashita for making the proposal so wonderful!!!and of course to my other team members. :) ) But the second one just put me off. That 2 j2 guys, my goodness! It was an eye opener i must say. Their proposals were so skimpy and brief, and they had the cheek to say mine was 'too rough'. This is called the 'pot calling the diamond black'. It's not even 'the kettle'. i must admit mine wasn't perfect but i made an effort to do research and find pictures to illustrate my idea. What about them? Just a few lines of broken english? A few months to their A levels and they can still be writing 'the picture as show below'. Come on, i think a j2 can do better than this?
And what's worse, they attempted to make it seem that my ideas were their and went on explaining the ideas to the teacher. wth. Of course i didnt let them get away with it. It's my idea afterall and i knew it better. So i explained it more clearly to the teacher, anyway they didnt do a good job in explaining coz it wasn't their idea. Both of them were so 'yesman' Anything that the teacher says, they'll go yeah yeah..wth. Can't u have some opinions of your own. Gosh..i don't know how im going to work with these two characters for the next two weeks. Thank god i still have Jewel. Even jewel says she's not too keen in doing this board stuff and the main problem lies in that two characters. Oh well..we have to be more professional about this. Get it over and done with. Seriously, i would like to sue them for plagerism if i could.
And a teacher just dampened my passion for learning physics. Have you ever heard a teacher telling you that you should drop physics if you want. And 'do it fast'. The reason? So that he'll have one less student to teach since we're scoring so badly. And telling you that 'you drop already, it'll be better for me'? im amazed that a teacher can actually tell his students that. Indirectly, you're actually making your job more difficult because there's no such thing as dropping a H2 subject, and what have you to gain if a student is so demoralised as to fail repeatedly? Sometimes i wonder how teachers nowadays are trained. Don't they go through training courses that teaches them how to create a better learning attitude mentally. The tone when you teach, the things you say to a student may have a larger impact on the person than you intended. If you're always sighing in front of your students and looking exasperated when the class does not understand your teachings, what effect will it have on your students. i don't know if you feel that way, but for me, i think it makes me feel that we are so stupid that the teacher can find no other ways to teach us. Or is it a catalyst for us to see the teacher's inadequacy? Well, i think there is still a certain level of expectation that a teacher should carry himself/herself well as well as being aware that students do look up to teachers as a role model in one way or another. i would like to question also, the role of a teacher. Obviously, teachers are meant to pass on knowledge to the young generation. If there are no more students interested in learning whatever you are teaching, then are you of any use? Then maybe you should just be a useless blob on my blog.
